An AppClose alternative that answers from your own agreement
An AppClose alternative is worth a look if you want answers from your own divorce agreement. Both apps can be used by one parent: AppClose has Solo Mode. The difference is that DivZen reads your agreement, parenting plan or court order and answers questions in plain English with the clause cited. It starts free with 25 AI credits.

What's the same, and what's different
AppClose's Solo Mode lets you manage records, schedules and expenses without the other parent connected, and DivZen is built for one parent too. If solo use is all you need, both will do it.
The difference is your agreement. DivZen reads it once (10 credits) and every feature uses it: questions get plain-English answers that point to the clause (1 credit each), receipts are checked against your cost-sharing terms (5 credits), and message drafts follow what the agreement says (5 credits). It works with custody agreements, divorce decrees, parenting plans and court orders from any country.

Where AppClose is the better choice
- Shared messages, calls and payments. AppClose chat messages can't be edited or deleted, calls can be recorded when both parents consent, and ipayou moves money between parents in the U.S. DivZen does none of these.
- Records and professional access. U.S. users get certified electronic records and can invite attorneys or mediators. DivZen's exports carry a SHA-256 fingerprint anyone can verify, on paid plans.
- Phone apps and schedule templates. AppClose has iPhone and Android apps and 15 ready-made custody schedules.
Questions
Is DivZen's answer legal advice?
No. DivZen is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. It tells you what your document says and shows the clause, so you can read the wording yourself. For anything with real consequences, check with a lawyer.
What documents can DivZen read?
Custody agreements, divorce decrees, parenting plans and court orders, from any country. You can add more than one, and setup takes a minute or two depending on length.
Can I use AppClose and DivZen together?
Yes. They don't connect to each other. You can keep AppClose for shared messages and payments and use DivZen to check your agreement before you reply.
Do I need a paid plan to try it?
No. The free plan comes with enough AI credits to read an agreement and ask questions about it, with no card. Current plans and credit costs are at divzen.co/pricing.
