    A co-parenting expense tracker lets you track child expenses with your ex and see who owes what. In DivZen you log costs for free, or scan a receipt for 5 credits: it checks the cost against your agreement, shows the clause on who pays, then tracks what's been repaid. Your ex doesn't need an account.

    How it works

    1. Add your agreement once. DivZen reads your agreement or parenting plan (10 credits) and picks out the cost-sharing terms: who pays for what, and in what share.
    2. Add an expense. Type it in for free, or photograph the receipt (5 credits) and DivZen reads the details from it.
    3. See whether it's shared. DivZen marks the cost reimbursable or personal, shows the clause it relied on and explains why. You can override it.
    4. Track repayment. Each shared cost has a status: not requested yet, requested, paid, disputed or settled. Record full or partial payments in either direction and DivZen shows what's left.
    5. Summarize the month. The monthly summary (5 credits) totals what's still to transfer, ready to send.

    What it doesn't do

    DivZen doesn't move money, and your co-parent can't approve an expense inside it. If you want payments to go through an app, TalkingParents (Accountable Payments), OurFamilyWizard (OFWpay, U.S. only) and AppClose (ipayou, U.S.) offer that. Amounts in different currencies are kept separate and never converted.

    Is expense tracking free?

    Manual tracking is free on every plan, including reports of spending by month and category. AI features such as receipt scanning use credits; current costs are at divzen.co/pricing.

    Can I export expenses for my lawyer or a mediator?

    Yes. Paid plans export records that are tamper-evident, with a SHA-256 fingerprint anyone can verify at app.divzen.co/verify. Free accounts can export their data as a file.

    Are receipt photos anonymized before the AI sees them?

    No. Receipt images are sent to the AI model unaltered, because details can't be removed from a photo. Typed text is sent with names and personal details replaced by placeholders. Your data is encrypted with AES-256 and never sold.

    What if my agreement doesn't mention the expense?

    The answer explains which clauses it considered and why, so you can see where the agreement is silent. It's a reading of your document, not legal advice.
